In home Child Development Sessions:  With 13 years of experience in Montessori and Child Development I bring a wealth of knowledge and sensitivity to my practice with children in the home.

My unique in-home package offers  8 x 75 minute Child Development sessions, during which I nourish the natural development of your child, supporting them physically, emotionally and spiritually, and in turn guide you in what they need, through connection and collaboration.

I guide you in preparing your home in a way that supports every aspect of their development, physical, cognitive, social, emotional and language.  I seek to gain the trust and respect of your child, meeting them where they are and guiding them through their developmental stages.

Description

The first foundational piece in supporting our child’s developmental milestones is creating an environment which supports those needs.  Therefore we begin our journey with the preparation of your home in our first session, together with me observing and me getting to know your child and their needs.

During Sessions 2 to 8 I will work one on one with your child, building trust, cultivating joy and feeding curiosity.  A rhythm to our sessions will be established, according to your child’s needs and preferences.

A sample session might look like the following:

  • Greeting song or story
  • Food selection and preparation, setting the table (simple fruit or vegetable salad, crackers and cheese, dips and breads, morning tea – age dependent)
  • Grace and courtesy during mealtime, cultivating a love of food, autonomous eating.
  • Clear up, washing up after mealtime
  • Creativity – art, music, dance, painting, playdough, sand
  • Weather permitting gardening, planting, watering, care of the natural world outdoors
  • Reading stories, poetry, song – cultivating rich language

(All Programmes are bespoke, our Discovery Call will identify the exact needs of your child and family and thus inform your Family Programme).

Additional Parent support:

  • Monthly online call to discuss progress, Parent Mentoring according to your needs
  • Fortnightly written report
  • Checklist of developmental markers and detail of how they will be supported
