MISSION STATEMENT:
“Montessori Gaza delivers accessible, high-quality early childhood services through Montessori mobile and static environments; nurturing children and families in safe environments while supporting physical and mental healing post-conflict.”
The delivery of the Montessori Gaza Programme is through Montessori on Wheels, a revolutionary and liberatory approach to providing access to a Montessori Education for children and their families. Montessori Gaza is under the sponsorship of HEAL Palestine‘s Education pillar. a grassroots humanitarian organisation taking a holistic approach to the rebuilding of Gaza and the children who live there.

نحن مبادرة تطمح أن تؤمن الأمان العاطفي، الكرامة و السعادة التى يقدمها منهج المنتسوري لأطفال غزه.
هذه المبادرة ستكون من خلال معلمات،أهل، مقدمي الرعاية عبر مجموعات التعلم أو الفصول الدراسية المتنقلة لخدمة الأطفال و العائلات التي هاجرت من غزه.
سنبدأ مشروعنا داخل غزه عندما يحين الوقت المناسب لإتمام ذلك.
هل تستطيعين كمتحدثه باللغة العربية و ممارسه لمنهج مونتسوري أن تشرفين و تدعمين المعلمات ، الأهل ، و مقدمين الرعاية الذين سيكونون مرشدين داخل المساحات التعليمية؟
هدف هذا المشروع يتضمن:
تقديم تجارب مونتسوري عالية الجودة.
تأمين الأمان العاطفي، الكرامة و السعادة.الإحترام، إحترام عزيمة الأطفال ، ضمن الثقافة ،اللغة و الهوية الفلسطينية.
نسعى لتأمين السلامة و المرونة من خلال التعليم المتنقل بعد الأزمة .
مونتسوري غزه هي منارة أمل ، لتقديم منهج تعليمي متميز لتلبية إحتياجات الأطفال. في عمق هذه المؤسسة هناك إيمان بالتعلم عبر اليدين و الحواس.نحن نعرف تأثير التروما على عقول الأطفال اليافعة و نؤمن بقدرة التعليم التجريبي في خلق المرونة لديهم.
Qualities of Montessori:
- Culturally neutral – the classroom setting absorbs local culture of the Community in which it is located, rather than an external culture/language being imposed
- Emphasis on Community, belonging, social emotional skills, trust, safety
- Mixed age groups offers peer to peer learning
- Freedom for children to choose activities according to their interest
- No punishments, rewards, homework, grades – non competitive environment, allowing children to flourish at their own pace
- The teachers (Guides) are responsive to each individual child’s needs through observation, mapping their unique learning journey.
