In this week’s Top Tip Tuesday Masterclass we discussed interrupting.
One of my clients has asked me for guidance in supporting children with interruptions (her children are 10, 9 and 6).
In this session we covered
- What are realistic and unrealistic expectations and how we can tailor them in alignment with our child’s age and developmental stage
- Tips that can support our children in moving towards fewer interruptions (as they develop and mature).
- Trust that with role modelling, space and time that our children will find their way.
- Most importantly, making time and space so our childrens’ voices are valued and heard as much as the adults’ voices in our homes, schools and communities.
