Neither authoritarian nor permissive; we see connection, freedom and discipline as all interwoven. The principles are that: through connected caregivers, freedom and practice, the child learns from their mistakes and develops the necessary skills to become a confident, self-motivated member of society with a high sense of integrity.
During this empowering two Workshop Programme you’ll learn:
✓ How discipline, connection and freedom are all interconnected; meaning that our bond with our child is the foundation of discipline.
✓ How discipline is less about controlling our child, and more about controlling ourselves.
✓ How the way that we prepare our homes and our rhythm within our homes contributes to a more harmonious and collaborative parent/child dynamic. ️
✓ The principles that, through freedom and practice, our child learns from their mistakes and with our nurturing support, develops the necessary skills to become a confident, self-motivated member of society with a high sense of integrity.
✓ Offering choices to develop skills of autonomy and self-direction (which leads to greater connection and collaboration).
✓ The language of respectful and postive discipline – respecting our children on a day to day basis, setting boundaries, how to respond ‘in the moment’ when in challenging situations with our child.
Join me for this transformative Programme that will change the way that you see your child, and how connection is the deciding factor in the parent/child discipline dynamic.
From more than a decade as a Montessori Educator, I draw upon my classroom experience from London, Cape Town and Dubai to create Parent Enrichment Programmes that serve families and meet them where they are, Self-reflection, intuition and trusting in our inner wisdom are the lynchpins of being able to connect deeply with our children, regardless of their age.
During this extensive Programme you will be given a new perspective of children, childhood and parenting. A perspective that gives us the confidence to focus on what we can give to our children from our hearts, souls and minds.
A perspective of offering our children support for their natural development, allowing us to be able to see through the fog of consumerism, being able to observe our child as they are and meet them where they are.
This theme of support runs throughout Enriching Environments: as we offer our children the support they need, we are able to access our inner wisdom to see what support we, as parents, need.
Giving us a sense of quiet calm, confidence and joy in our parenting journey of self discovery.
✓ Homework and reflections to invite your personal growth as your new skills become part of your daily life at home.
